AFT president Randi Weingarten teaming up with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The article appeared in the March 25th Edition of New Republic (that's where the link above goes), and was reprinted in the AFT's American Educator.
Their concern is that states (such as New York), in their efforts to hold teachers accountable for student success, are "doing evaluation quickly instead of doing it right."
So, they've listed the important elements of high-quality teacher development and evaluation.
