Thank you, Veronica! | Veronica Fiore (in the middle in the group shot on the left) organized our eight volunteer opportunities this year at the Hope Soup Kitchen in New Rochelle. Here is Veronica with Carol Fata (also below, preparing dessert), Roseanne Silves, Stephanie Grohowski and Julia Brogan. Thank you to all of those who gave a couple of hours to be of service in our community this year. |

Joyce Vastola hosted our first ever BTA book club at her lovely home in Scarsdale. Kelly Donohue, Lauren Carfora, David Katz, Eileen Mahoney, MaryAnn Craven, Julia Brogan, and BTA retirees Mike Mari and Linda Orsenigo discussed The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah (and also enjoyed some terrific food and drink).
Our next Book Club meeting will be on Thursday, June 9. We'll be discussing My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante. Please read the book and join us - it promises to be another fantastic meeting of some engaged readers.
