Please Read Veronica Fiore's Note about a BTA-Supported Community Service
Hi Everyone!
Last year, several of us had the opportunity to help serve food at HOPE Community Soup Kitchen in New Rochelle. It was a very rewarding experience to help give back to those less fortunate as well as an opportunity for staff members to get to know one another better. We would like to continue this community service this year. From the months of October through May we will be helping out at Hope on the last Monday of each month. HOPE opened the doors of its first soup kitchen in 1984 and now holds the largest soup kitchen and emergency food pantry in the region. Each month they have asked for five volunteers. I will send a sign up genius at the beginning of each month for those interested and available to help. Volunteers are needed to help serve the food and clean up from 4:30 to 6:00.
