Retired Bronxville teacher Antonio Manganiello will once again cater our conference day on November 9th. He donates his time, expertise and the catering fee to benefit the Food Bank for Westchester.
Retired teachers Jeff Zuckerman and Clare Gorman will donate bread and paper goods to this effort and a handful of teachers will make desserts, while the district will provide the salad and the drinks.
All of this is in the hope that you will be inspired to join them in their generosity to make a tax-deductible donation to the Food Bank for Westchester.
Donations can be made at any time up to and including conference day. Katie Brosnahan, Glenn Stockton, and Mandy Gersten will gladly take your donation. If you don't see them, you can put it in their mailboxes. Checks are preferred but cash is fine too. In the past, donations have averaged $25.
Checks should be made payable to Food Bank for Westchester.
You are NOT required to donate to enjoy the luncheon, but hopefully you will be inspired by the generosity of others to give. At a time when roughly 15% of America lives in poverty, the Food Bank is a more important lifeline than ever for thousands of people in Westchester County.
Thank you for your support.
