Dear Fellow BTA Members,
As some of you are aware, effective July 1, our health insurance plan SWSCHP is once again changing it's co-pay structure. Some of the co-pays you currently make will go up by 150%. Yes, a 150% increase. The three-tiered plan they currently use ($10 for primary care, $15 for a specialist with a referral, and $25 for a specialist without a referral) is about to become a $25 across-the-board co-pay system. I urge all of you for whom this makes a difference to see your doctors before July 1, as it will cost you more if you do wait. With today's health care costs continually taking bites out of the net income of individuals, this type of information may serve useful to many of you.
