Each year, at holiday time, I honor the other three officers of the BTA with a gift to a charitable organization that supports children, teachers, fair trade, or some other meaningful cause.
This year, I chose to honor Mandy Gersten, Chuck Yochim, and Katie Brosnahan with a gift to NYSUT's Disaster Relief Fund.

This is a great way to recognize your mentor, your team leader, your curriculum leader, your BTA executive council, your school secretary, BTA members and their families who lost property in the storm.
