I received a letter from AFT president, Randi Weingarten congratulating us on our 25th anniversary as an affiliated teachers' union.
The party to celebrate will be rescheduled, and I'll let you know the date as soon as I can.
Please consider recognizing this important milestone by
o increasing your VOTE-COPE contribution by 25 cents (or starting a contribution of $2.50 per paycheck).
o contributing $25 to the Food Bank of Westchester and lunching with us on the November 9 Staff Development Day.
o finding 25 minutes on Saturday, February 2 to help collect food at the local A&P for the Food Bank of Westchester.
o making plans to attend our annual end-of-year dinner on Thursday, June 13, at which we will honor our charter members.
