On Wednesday, March 20, 2013, NYSUT President Richard Iannuzzi and Vice President Maria Neira will be conducting a regional town hall meeting, "Tell It Like It Is." The program will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Academic Arts Building Theater on the grounds of Westchester Community College, Valhalla Campus (75 Grasslands Road, Valhalla).
The program will provide participants with an opportunity to be part of a regional conversation on the over-reliance of student testing and the challenges the union and profession face moving forward. It is critical that the voice of educators and parents be heard on this important topic.
Light refreshments will be served following the meeting.
