Now that the holidays are over, many charitable organizations struggle to meet the needs of those that rely on them. With winter bearing down, those needs are as great as ever. In light of that, the Bronxville schools will once again be working to help out by collecting goods for the Food Bank for Westchester. We have consistently been one of the biggest donors among Westchester schools, so thank you for your past participation and generosity.
The drive will happen from January 21st and continue until the 4th of February. As before, collection boxes will be placed in all the elementary classrooms, middle school advisory rooms, and in any high school teacher's room that would like one (HS teachers - let me know). There will also be a box in the MS/HS library. As the drive gets closer, we will send an email home to parents about the drive and the items being collected. That list is also attached here so you can print it out and post it in your room.
All faculty and students from the middle and high schools are also invited to help collect goods at the A&P onSaturday, January 31st between 9am and 1pm. There are plenty of time slots available for anyone who can give an hour or so. Please let me know when you can help.
I look forward to lugging your overflowing boxes back to my room in a few weeks.
Thanks,
Glenn Stockton
