BTA NEWS

1) Please do not call the school offices when you will be absent. The number to call is 738-0204. You are urged to call the night before, but in an emergency call the day of your absence up to 6 AM. After 6 AM you will have to call your school office.

2) There are at least 30 empty spaces in our lot every day at 7:30 AM. Please do not say that you got here at 7:30 and there were no spaces. It makes us all look bad when we say things like that. There may not be enough spaces for everyone, but it's not at 7:30!

3) Margo Lorber is looking for a full-time, live-in companion for her mother in Hastings. Please call her if you have any ideas in this area. Ext 2411 or her cell at 914-400-5149.

4.)Andy Spano, Westchester's County Executive, called me and asked if anyone would be willing to join an Advisory Committee he is forming using educators. The committee would meet a couple of times per year.

The committee will apparently offer advice on best ways to disseminate information the County feels is important for Middle and High School students.
